Turkeezrus yet to deliver Thanksgiving turkey...and it is now December!

As like other pissed off consumers, I had a horrible experience with Turkeezrus.I ordered my Thanksgiving turkey nearly a week before the holiday with the promise of local delivery here in the Atlanta metro prior to 5 p.m.

the day before Thanksgiving. This time frame came and went, and after several phone calls and e-mail messages, I received a mass-distributed e-mail late in the evening of the scheduled delivery saying that the confirmed delivery window had been changed to between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Low and behold, the time frame passed, and with it being a holiday, my family went without the featured bird on Turkey Day! And despite paying for the turkey and sides in advance, I am yet to see any of the goods nor any sign of a refund.

I can safely say that Turkeezrus ruined our holiday, and what is worse is that they haven't had the professional courtesy to respond in any way to my complaints.I can't believe the lack of customer service with this company, and will most certainly continue to spread the word that this disreputable company should not be in business as they fail to conduct business.

I also had a horrible experience with this company.I actually purchased a 50% off gift certificate through another company and thought what the heck - I'll give it a try.

I ordered my turkey online sunday night 11/21. The turkey was delivered via UPS on wednesday morning 11/24. Now mind you I live in Connecticut so it was being shipped from Georgia to CT and it went 2nd day ground. WELL, when it arrived I opened up the flimsy cardboard box and found the styrofoam cooler inside the box busted into 3 pieces with nothing in the carton to keep this turkey COLD.

It was sorta wrapped in green saran wrap but there was turkey juice everywhere in the box. I was putting this away for my son to take back to college with him so I took the bird out of the box to carve it up. Low and behold - it was still raw. The outside of the bird looked like it had been cooked but the rest of it was raw.

At that point I had to throw it out. I couldnt be sure the bird was even safe to eat after spending 2 days in a truck with out any type of cooling agent. I called the company right after I opened the package. The man that answered the phone took my name, order number and phone number and told me someone would call me back.

It is now a week later and still no return phone call.

I have tried calling again and now all I get is an answering machine.I will never use this company again and they will never get a good reference from me.

From what I understand, there was a death in the family around he holidays and they are not dealing well with it. I too purchased the 50% off coupon, ordered a turkey and the day it was to be delivered(just after xmas) received an email explaining the death, degree of grief and promise to honor in the future. Now, it is appearing they have just stopped and may have left us all hanging??

Similar story here...at least you got a turkey. Mine was not ready when I stopped by to pick it up. They were rude and if I tell you how dirty the place is you would feel ill.

Horrible company to do business with.Bought their Living Social deal and ordered my turkey the day it came out.

When I ordered, there was no place to choose a shipping method...only a box to state whether it was for pick up or delivery. Well, I stated I wanted it delivered today, 12/17. Today I called to get an estimate time for delivery and they said I never paid shipping and my turkey was not coming. As a businees, and providing quality service to the customer, I should have been called ahead of time to be informed that there was a problem with my order as I would have been happy and willing to pay for delivery....just had no way of doing it when this first launched.

Needless to say this company completely screwed me for a family function this evening without even trying to make it right. I was told they have over 500 orders...well, if you can't handle the business and treat each order personally...don'y put out anymore Groupons or Living Socials. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

Wouldn'tt take my dog to eat there!!!!STAY AWAY!!!

I also had the same problem as above.I live in Georgia and had the Turkey picked up and was impressed by the outside, but it was raw and bloody when I cut it on Thanksgiving day (I was soo embarrassed and disappointed).

I emailed them with photos on the Friday after Thanksgiving and called them on the Monday and I have still to get a response. They don't even have the courtesy to have someone pick up the phone...you always get a voicemail message. I am very displeased.

All companies make mistakes, but it seems that TurkeezRus is not even willing to own up to their mistakes and correct them. They have lost my business forever and I won't be giving any positive recommendations OBVIOUSLY!

###########BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!##########

I searched the internet for a company that offered fried Turkey T'day dinners that could be delivered to my home. I came upon a company called, Turkeezrus an affiliate of Sweet Teas C&B. Since some of the reviews for Sweet Teas were favorable, I thought I would give their affiliate a try.

I made a $170.20 purchase on 11/23/10 directly from http://www.turkeezrus.com. What a big mistake!!! The day after my purchase, I tried calling the company to confirm that my order went through and that there would not be any problems. Well, I spoke with a woman who said that she was on her way to the store and would call me once she got there to verify my order. She never called back, so I called her again the very next day 11/24/10. I again spoke with the same woman who apologized for not calling me back and said that my order was received and is being processed and is on schedule for delivery for 11/24/10.

Well, the night before T'day (11/24/10) @7p my UPS driver came through the neighborhood but when I stopped him, he advised that he had no delivery for me. WOW!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Here I am w/out T'day dinner for the following day! I called Turkeezrus and got no answer! I immediately called my bank and disputed the charge.

Later that night (approx. 9p) I get a call from Turkeezrus delivery driver stating that they are trying to complete their deliveries but they have been stuck in traffic and wanted to know if it would be ok with me for them to delivery my T'day dinner the next day (on T'day!)

What a Joke!!!!! By that time I had gone to the neighborhood Walmart and purchase some things to try and throw together a T'day dinner that didn't seem thrown together!

Funny I could never reach the owner, but after I told the delivery driver what a HORRIBLE experience I had with their business and that I will share it with ALL who would listen...Lo & Behold-the owner calls me and leaves a message of apology and a promise to refund my money which I yet to receive, but I will followup on it!!!!

Turkeezrus I will NEVER forget the problems you caused me!!!!

Just so others would know.I just got my refund processed through the company from which I purchased the voucher.

So if you ordered from TurkeezRus through TIPPR or Groupon or some similar website, email their customer service and see what happens since it seems TurkeezRus and Sweet Teas Catfish and Blues company have closed their operations (telephone number disconnected).Hope this helps.

I purchased a coupon to get a turket at 60% off through them.Repeat calls to try to order from there were unanswered and they only returned my call when I got the coupon agency involved.

So, we ordered the turkey to be picked up today as we have guests from out of town until tomorrow. SURPRISE - we went to pick it up and they were CLOSED with a sign claiming they had a death in the family and to "order sometime later this year." They claimed they sent out e-mails but did NOT do so. Now I have a dozen people expecting turkey in 2 hours to go with the dressing and "trimmings" we made all day long.

I've asked the coupon agency to issue a refund and hope they do as I will NEVER trust these people again!PLUS Sweet Tea Catfish and Blues is supposed to be a separate business but they were closed today as well.

I too will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They offer horrible customer service.

The person who was supposed to handle my refund was so rude as if I should just deal with the fact that the turkey I ordered for Christmas eve was not ready on time and had not even been started. I don't know if he was joking or just being ignorant. But it was totally unprofessional when I was expecting a turkey for the holidays that they were unable to deliver as promised. If I order a turkey to be ready at 6:30pm on Christmas eve and I don't arrive until close to closing time...7pm and you have the nerve to tell me another 1 1/2 hours???

Are you serious? That means you haven't even started cooking my turkey. So unprofessional. And then they have the great idea to offer a Living Social Deal and Groupon during the holiday season.

Fully knowing they don't have what it takes to handle that amount of orders. I ordered cupcakes from another establishment on Christmas Eve. They had tons of pre-orders but not one issue with them being ready on time. Everyone walked out satisfied.

But at TurkeezRUs... a different story. First the place looked disgusting, I wouldn't eat there if I had to. I don't know if it normally looks like that but it definitely didn't look like a restaurant.

The floor was covered in grease as a little boy was sliding all over it. If you walked in, you were sure to walk out smelling like grease. There were several angry customers in...

It was terrible customer service. I should have went off the review that I read and not went with this place. I hope they close down soon to teach them a lesson. Not everyone that can cook has what it takes to run a business.

This is clearly the case with Turkeezrus.

Needless to say, I walked out without a fried turkey for Christmas and I will NEVER go there again and I hope no one uses their horrible services. They don't deserve to serve ANYONE.

Yes. Our normally impeccable service was affected. If you are a parent of two children, could you offer the same attention to 300 hundred, when you weren’t prepared to do so?

Our company entered into an arrangement with TIPPR in which they would sell gift certificates for the company, and we would do a revenue split. TIPPR launched a special for ½ priced Turkeys the weekend before Thanksgiving. Nearly 300 customers purchased the gift certificates.

TIPPR in turn released and sent out inaccurate gift certificate code numbers to all customers. After receiving no response from TIPPR, nearly a thousand calls and emails flooded into our company. After we tried to unsuccessfully reach TIPPR, our company was faced with trying to manually process hundreds of orders, which was contrary to our agreement with TIPPR.

Everything was supposed to be automated and handled through our shopping cart. With our having to reallocate all resources and handle additional resources to deal with the calls and emails, every single facet of our business was negatively affected.

A weekend before Thanksgiving. Chefs and cooks are answering phones, because with a thousand calls, what do we do? Our two customer service reps were swamped while, the TIPPR team was away “vacationing” after releasing wrong gift certificate codes.

What does a company do? We tried to correct for an issue that was created by a much larger partner.

As we seek...

We hope those few affected understand our sincere regret, and that as a business, it is devastating to go from an automated process to manually handling thousands of calls 24 hours before Thanksgiving orders are due. We nor most companies were prepared for it.

Same problem here.I ordered from them with what I thought would be plenty of time to spare...when the turkey hadn't shown up by 2 days before Thanksgiving, I emailed them to see what the status was.

No response.

It finally came today (just 4 days late), and just like with Tracey, the foam container it was in was completely busted, there was nothing there to keep it cold, and it was leaking juice all over the place.

There's NO way it's safe to eat (when it was simply late, I figured "ok, we'll just save it in the freezer for christmas").What a let down.
